Workshops
If you find yourself using your camera on automatic most of the time
this is the workshop for you.  This is a two hour class that will cover
the basic functions of the camera and how it relates to photography.
After this class you will have a basic understanding of:

Exposure
Aperture
Focus
Depth of Field
Composition
ISO
White Balance
Basic Flash Photography

You will leave this class knowing how to use your camera
in the more creative modes with greater confidence.

This 2 hour class will include 1.5 hours classroom instruction
and .5 hours of shooting time.  
Workshops will be taught by member photographers
who specialize in the area you have chosen.
Workshops typically fill within a few days of being announced,
so register at your earliest convenience.

We have photographers who are experts in the operation
of Nikon and Canon cameras in addition to lighting, posing,
working with models and Photoshop.
Basic Photography

Intermediate Photography

This workshop will let you begin to use your artistic creativity
in photography.  A basic understanding of your camera is
a prerequisite for this class.  You should already know the meaning of
aperture, exposure, white balance and exposure compensation.
After this class you will have a deeper knowledge of;

Fully manual camera operation
Isolation of your subject through depth of field
How to use shutter speed to stop or blur motion
Taking advantage of your cameras ISO capabilities
Basic use of on and off camera flash

This class is two hours and will feature much more shooting than
the Basic Photography class.  You will have the opportunity to
shoot with various strobes and hotlights plus various macro, portrait
and high speed lenses.
Select classes will also feature a model on request.
